Sarah Klassen
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Sarah is originally from Duluth, Minnesota. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Psychology at the College of Saint Scholastica in 2019, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. Sarah’s interest in physical therapy began as a high school athlete and outdoor enthusiast when she needed physical therapy services herself. Her interest in physical therapy grew into a passion for helping others regain or improve their function whether it be for daily life, sports, or more serious chronic conditions and surgery. During graduate school, Sarah completed internships in both Minnesota and North Carolina where she gained experience in areas involving outpatient orthopedics and sports, inpatient hospital care, ICU, brain trauma and surgery, as well as chronic stroke patients in her school’s Pro-Bono Clinic.
In her free time, Sarah can be found anywhere outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, playing with her Daschund “Frannie,” or with a book in hand. She has always had a passion to travel and experience new places and cultures. Sarah and her husband are always in search of new hiking trails and enjoy spending time with their friends and family. They are new “Michiganders” and are enjoying exploring the outdoors and cities that Michigan has to offer.
