Amy is originally from Corunna, Michigan. She has taught dance since 1994, and has been teaching at Step N’ Time Dance Studio in Nashville, Michigan for the past 9 years. Amy’s love for physical therapy was ignited when she was injured on a trip to New York while attending a dance teacher conference. After working with the dance medicine and injury prevention professionals, Amy was inspired to begin a second career while continuing her first one as a dance instructor. Amy graduated from the Kellogg Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in the summer of 2020. She has work experience in skilled nursing and aquatic therapy.
Amy and her family live in Vermontville, Michigan. In her free time, Amy enjoys visiting her daughter in Holland, practicing yoga, gardening, hiking, and spinning.
